Welsh bowler John Price was whitewashed by Scottish rival Stewart Anderson in the World Indoor Bowls Championships quarter-finals at Hopton on Sea.

Anderson comfortably beat 1990 world champion Price 13-0, 9-6 at the Potters Holiday Resort and will face Englishman Nick Brett in Saturday's semi-final.

The 26-year old dominated the first set but experienced Price improved to take the first points of the second set.

But Anderson sealed a second successive victory over a former world champion.
