Paternostro's men have won five out of their last six games

Leicester Riders coach Rob Paternostro believes his side are hitting form after a poor start to the season left them struggling in the BBL.

Riders, who have climbed to sixth spot in the table, host third-placed Glasgow Rocks on Saturday night and face Guildford Heat on the road on Sunday.

"We have won five out of six and have found our rhythm," Paternostro said.

"After all of the changes it has taken time but we feel very good about the direction of our team."

Riders recorded a stunning 102-99 victory over Newcastle Eagles last Saturday.

Paternostro added: "It was a great win for us against Newcastle, the gym was really rocking!

"The energy that we played with was fantastic, we knew we needed to be aggressive if we wanted to win, and credit our guys with executing and getting the job done.

"JR Blount was super, he has had a great season, Newcastle continued to give him different looks and he continued to adjust to those looks and still be effective."

Although Sunday's game against Guildford Heat pits Paternostro's men against a side they thrashed 95-64 at home earlier this month, he is mindful that Riders face a tough weekend.

"I have been impressed with the Rocks this year," Paternostro said. "They have been an intelligent team that has played well as a group."

"Guildford had an off night last time we played them. "It happens, we have had that happen to us this year, but we understand that they will be a completely different team come Sunday."
