Derby Trailblazers suffered a sixth successive loss in Division One of the EBL on Saturday, despite an improved display at Bristol Academy Flyers. The Trailblazers overturned a 15-point deficit against the league leaders to close the gap to two points in the third period of a thrilling contest. But the hosts pulled away in the final quarter to win 87-78. Matt Shaw was Derby's top scorer with 22 points, while Mark Woodhouse added 18 points and Sam O'Shea bagged 13.
