Paul James has seen his team drop to seventh in the BBL |
Worcester Wolves were brushed aside by Mersey Tigers to go down to their third successive home defeat in the British Basketball League. The Wolves were blown away from the tip off, trailing 20-11 at the end of the first period and 44-28 at half-time. The hosts had no response as the Tigers cruised to their fifth BBL win of the season, with Andrew Sullivan notching 24 points and Tafari Toney 23. "We found it extremely difficult indeed to cope with Sullivan and Toney," said Wolves coach Paul James. "Everyone knows they are a class act."
