Worthing Thunder have re-signed Sherrad Prezzie-Blue to replace recently departed Lithuanian Evaldas Zabas. The Connecticut-born 23-year-old point guard played for Thunder last season as the club made its first ever foray into the end of season BBL play-offs. Thunder director Alan Sweetman-Hicks said: "He knows the town, the club and the league already so knows what is expected of him. "He was also extremely popular with the children that he coached in schools." Sweetman-Hicks admitted that Prezzie-Blue never lost his interest in the club despite not being re-signed originally. "Sherrad has been in contact with the club throughout the summer - for most of that time we were not expecting to sign any guards so didn't pursue matters," he said. "However, with the change in circumstances and then the decision of Evaldas to leave us, we had to make a decision on a new player to come in. We look forward to him being part of the Thunder family again soon." Prezzie-Blue, whose signing is subject to receiving his work permit and visa, averaged 14 points per game for Thunder last season.
