Leicester Riders head coach Rob Paternostro has said he is eager to stay on for a third successive season.
Paternostro guided the Riders to sixth place in the final BBL table but they were edged out 88-86 by Glasgow Rocks in the play-off quarter-finals.
He told BBC Radio Leicester: "I've had other teams ask about my future and what I'm doing but in my mind there's never been any doubt to come back
"I like it here, I've been treated well by the organisation and fans."
Paternostro said he has seen clear signs of progress during his time in the East Midlands and is keen to carry on and see the job through.
"We're building from the bottom up. Before I got here we knew we had a long way to go and I think we're closing ground on some of the other organisations - not only on the court go but off it as well.
"I'm a full-time coach here and it's a job I love and one I continue to get excited about.
"I've really enjoyed working with the team this season."
And Paternostro said his plans for next season were already taking shape.
"You have to look forward - even as the season comes to a close we need to looked forward to what we could do next season and the improvements that can be made," he said.
"It's exciting - once the buzzer sounded in Glasgow there was a lot of disappointment but in other areas it's exciting because we're looking forward to continuing to put a good product on the floor.
"The job is now all-consuming for recruiting and that's the important thing for me."
