Olympic silver medal-winning showjumper Tim Grubb has died at the age of 55. Leicestershire-born Grubb was in the British team with Steven Smith, John Whitaker and Michael Whitaker, who won medals at the 1984 Los Angeles Games. He later became an American citizen, turning out for his new country at the 1994 World Equestrian Games. "He was not only a great ambassador for British showjumping but an inspiration to all who knew him," said British Showjumping chairman Michael Mac. | 606: DEBATE |
