Derby Trailblazers suffered an agonising defeat in the semi-finals of the EBL Men's Trophy on Sunday night. Club captain Matt Shaw scored 22 points, but that was not enough for the Trailblazers who went down 92-91 to the London Mets in double overtime. On Saturday, Derby strengthened their position at the top of the EBL table, cruising to a 94-75 away victory over Coventry Crusaders Sam O'Shea and Simon Spencer led the scoring with 17 points apiece.
