Riders coach Rob Paternostro says his team has plenty of heart
Leicester Riders had a mixed weekend by following up Friday's 112-105 defeat by Newcastle with a hard-fought 98-95 win over Everton Tigers the next day.
Riders guard Tack Minor top scored with 32 points as they came back from a four-point deficit in the last 90 seconds against the Tigers.
Head coach Rob Paternostro told BBC Radio Leicester: "We've shown a great ability to fight back in games."
The Riders are now joint second in the BBL Championship.
Although Paternostro was pleased to get the win over his former coach Tony Garbelotto he feels they can improve.
He said: "When I look back at the tape I'll be disappointed with a whole lot of things, but one thing you can't teach is heart and it sure looks like this group has a lot of that."
Leicester Riders will be looking to make it three straight home wins when they entertain Essex Pirates at the John Sandford Centre on Saturday at 1930 BST.
