Wolves go to Rocks for vital game

Top-scorer Anthony Paez will return to action for the Wolves on Sunday

The Worcester Wolves return to action on Sunday looking to regain their position in the play-off places in the British Basketball League.

After a weekend without a fixture, Worcester travel to meet the Scottish Rocks at Kelvin Hall, Glasgow.

"They are tough to beat in Scotland, and they will be desperate for a win," said Wolves head coach Skouson Harker.

"But we have some good depth and we'll see if that can help us to get a result as this is another must-win game."

Last time out, the Wolves recorded a 90-83 victory over the MK Lions, their fourth victory in six games.

The result was all the more pleasing for Harker as Worcester were without leading scorer Anthony Paez.

"It was a good game. We stuck to our game plan, and by the fourth quarter our 31-15 run showed it was the right game plan," said the Wolves' boss.

"Without Anthony we knew it would be tough, and we all stood up and brought our games.

"Even with Anthony back, we have the depth now for the first time with Doug Tshomba here and Adam Williams now healthy.

"Anthony can concentrate on playing an all-around game, while getting some much deserved rest on the bench."
