Williams played under Skouson Harker at Birmingham |
Worcester Wolves' latest signing Adam Williams says the team want to finish the BBL season on a high. The 6ft 4ins Welsh guard, formerly of Birmingham, has only played twice since joining the Wolves at the start of January after injuring his ankle. He told BBC Hereford and Worcester he is looking to get back on the court alongside Vidmantis Uzkuraitis. "We've been practising this week and we're ready to go, so hopefully we can finish the season off strongly." "With me we've got a bit more depth and it just gives everyone a chance to play less minutes.
"It keeps the guys off the court who get foul trouble, so we can have our players for the important part of the game, for the fourth quarter." Williams was the leading scorer for Birmingham last season and has plenty of experience in the BBL. "It's my sixth season in the league and I've done well for other teams so I can just improve the team overall hopefully."
