Anthony Paez again topped the Wolves scorers with 40 points

Worcester Wolves dropped to ninth in the British Basketball League after going down 121-111 at play-off rivals Worthing Thunder.

Anthony Paez scored an impressive 40 points for the visitors.

But Worcester looked set for a heavy defeat as they trailed 109-87 at the end of the third quarter.

They fought back in the final period and with just under four minutes remaining the deficit was slashed to 112-108 before Thunder stretched away.
