Lasker shot a season-high 32 points in the win over the Wolves |
The Plymouth Raiders came from 37-26 down in the first half to beat the Worcester Wolves 89-77 in the BBL on Sunday night. Top scorer Drew Lasker was again the star man as he scored a season-high 32 points for the Raiders, who still trailed going into the final quarter. But a 14-1 opening run in the last period saw the BBL Championship semi-finalists get back in front. Despite a spirited comeback from Worcester the Raiders held on to win. "In the second half we were tremendous," head coach Gary Stronach told BBC Radio Devon. Gaylon Moore hit 16 points for Plymouth while Anthony Martin got 10 as all but one of the team got on the score sheet.
