Paternostro was pleased with his side's battling performance
Leicester Riders head coach Rob Paternostro was disappointed to see his side lose 90-89 to the Cheshire Jets in what he called a "great" match.
It was Leicester's first loss of the season in the BBL but they did come back from eight points down in the final ten minutes.
Paternosto told BBC Radio Leicester: "We turned the ball over a bit too much but we did battle to the end."
Tommy Swanson top-scored for the Riders with 19 points.
Matt Martin contributed 18 points while Rod Wellington finished with 16.
The Leicester coach felt his team would have learnt a lot from the game.
"I think this week in practice we'll talk about where we need to improve and they know now that it's going be a dogfight every week in this league as I think there's a much higher standard overall," he said.
