Sullivan left Newcastle in 2006 for Spanish side Badalona
Newcastle Eagles forward Andrew Sullivan admits he would love to remain on Tyneside if the British League could match his financial expectations.
Sullivan, 28, returned to the club on a two-month deal following a spell in the Euroleague but warned fans not to expect a permanent switch.
"If I could play here for what I get back in Europe it would be an easy decision," he told BBC Radio Newcastle.
"I would never have left before, we'll see what happens in the future."
London-born Sullivan has remained close to the Eagles since leaving in 2006, particularly with captain Andrew Bridge, his Great Britain team-mate.
And the former Badalona player is convinced there is ample quality within the side to mount a challenge for silverware this season - regardless of his own presence.
"I have no doubt they will compete, they've got an extremely good team with a bunch of guys with heart and aspiration of winning," he said.
"I think they're going to do a very good job this season and continue to bring BBL silverware to the north-east."
