Isle of Man badminton player Josh Green has been selected to represent England at the World Junior Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico. The 17-year-old has had a string of impressive performances including winning the English National Under-19 title last month. He told BBC Isle of Man: "I've had some great results recently and to be selected for Mexico is fantastic." The tournament will start in Guadalajara on 16 April. Green was in contention for selection last year, but was ruled out with a broken hand. He added: "To win the national title and to play at the World Junior Championships were my two main goals this season. Hopefully I can keep myself fit and make a impact on the tournament."
