Plymouth Admirals got their biggest win for six years as they beat Reading Renegades 28-0 on Sunday.
Marco Pinder got on the end of Mark tanner's pinpoint pass to get the first touchdown after a 74-yard Admirals drive to make it 6-0 early on.
The lead was doubled in the second quarter as running back Nick Copley scored from close range.
Michael Bearman's 33 yard interception return just before half time and a successful conversion made it 20-0.
Copley got his second touchdown followed by a two-point conversion in the second half to round off the win.
"It was an almost perfect first half and certainly our best of the season so far," said head coach Steve Perry.
"We are all proud of how today went," said Offensive Co-ordinator Mark Tanner."But we need to be looking to improve more in the coming weeks.
"We've got four tough games ahead including the three teams vying for play-offs in our division. It's going to be an exciting time for the team."
The Devon side held Reading to just 90 yards of offence while the Admirals had over 300 yards.
The Admirals stay second from bottom in the British American Football League's second division South West Conference but are now a win ahead of Reading.
Their next match is on Sunday 20 July when they host the Peterborough Saxons, who are second in the East Conference.
