Three of the Isle of Man's best young hockey players have been selected to represent the North West of England.

Bacchas' Louise Corkill has been selected for the under-18 team, whilst Ramsey's Lauren Finch and Valkyrs Steven Lowe will join the under-16s.

"This is fantastic for Manx hockey and is just reward for all the hard work of the players and their coaches," performance director Karl Moore said.

All three players attend the Isle of Man Junior Hockey Academy.

Moore continued: "It's a great result for Manx Hockey to see that we are able to prepare players to compete with the best in England."
