It is Lings' second summer in the 225 after winning the 150 class in 2007

The Lings team from Lowestoft took a series lead with wins on home surf in the Formula 4-Stroke Championship.

The Norfolk-based crew of driver David Cowley and navigator Chris Jary won Saturday's first race comfortably.

On Sunday, with Jary replaced by team-mate Paul Berkshire, Lings completed the double with a 25-length win ahead of second-placed Team Williams.

Cowley told BBC Radio Norfolk: "We now get that elusive red cowling, which I think will look nice on our boat."
