Bryan Gunn's Norwich City picked up a creditable draw against a young Manchester United side managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Midfielder Tom Adeyemi, 17, opened the scoring for the Canaries with a superb 20-yard strike after just 16 minutes.
Fifteen minutes later Gary Doherty clumsily conceded a penalty, but on-loan keeper Ben Alnwick saved Sam Houston's spot-kick.
Ritchie De Leat slid home the equaliser with five minutes remaining.
