Vikings A maintained their unbeaten start to Women's Division One with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Castletown on Saturday. Vikings' Kim Carney netted the only goal of the fiercely competitive match. Meanwhile, Bacchas A suffered another serious blow to their title hopes as they were defeated 4-0 by Valkyrs A. Andrea Kneen led the way for the westerners netting a hat-trick with Poppy Walker adding the fourth goal for Bacchas to complete a comfortable win. Elsewhere, Ramsey A maintained their good form with victory over Phoenix A. Ramsey's captain Laura Bellwood and Sarah Breen both scored two goals apiece to seal the win for the northerners. Phoenix were unable to repeat last week's performance with Jill Smith netting their only goal of the game.
