Vikings A defeated Valkyres A 4-2 on Saturday to remain on course to defend their Ladies' Division One title.

Kim Carney, Karen Faragher and a brace from Kirsty Hunt sealed the win for Vikings while Andrea Kneed grabbed both goals for the westerners.

Meanwhile, Bacchas A suffered a further dent in their title hopes as they were held 1-1 by nine-woman Phoenix.

Sharon Pope netted for the Tromode side while Jill Smith's reply ensured Phoenix took a share of the points.

Elsewhere, Ramsey A emerged the right side of a five goal thriller to defeat Castletown A 3-2.
