Britain jubilant after Canada win
Hockey
Great Britain's unbeaten men emerged top of the tri-nations competition in South Africa after a 4-1 win over Canada in their final game.

Barry Middleton opened the scoring six minutes before half-time from the top of the circle but Ranjeev Deol equalised just before the break.

East Grinstead's Ashley Jackson put the tourists ahead again from the penalty spot before Middleton's classy second.

And Scotland's Graham Moodie notched the fourth for an emphatic victory.

Two victories over the North Americans, coupled with two draws against the hosts, proved good preparation for the team's Olympic qualifier in March.

GB have one final warm-up match, against Poland at Reading next month, before they head out to the qualifying tournament.

"We've had a good two weeks and have got another four games under our belt before we travel to Chile," said manager Pete Nicholson.

"Everyone other than George Pinner (the injured Beeston goalkeeper) has taken part at some point on this tour and we are pleased with how things have gone."
