Mantell leads Britain past Canada
Hockey
Richard Mantell's hat-trick of penalty corners helped Great Britain to a 5-1 win over Canada in the tri-nations tournament in Durban, South Africa.

Mantell's Reading club-mate Jonty Clarke opened the scoring with a reverse-stick shot from the top of the circle in the 23rd minute.

Five minutes after half-time, Mantell scored the first of his drag-flicks.

Ranjeev Deol pulled one back for Canada but Mantell made two more before Barry Middleton's diving score.

Great Britain are preparing for an Olympic qualifier in Chile in March.
