British archers clinched three bronze medals on the final day of the European Indoor Championships in Turin. Nicky Hunt was third in the women's compound as Team GB continued their build-up to the Beijing Olympics. Earlier, Hunt lined up with Nichola Simpson and Lucy Holderness to take bronze in the team compound. Britain's third bronze came in the team recurve where Naomi Folkard, Charlotte Burgess and Emma Downie beat Germany in the third place shoot-out. "It's brilliant that we've won three medals and I'm really thrilled for Nicky Hunt and for both teams," said Great Britain team manager Hilda Gibson. "It was a fantastic effort and coming home with these medals is an appropriate reflection of the hard work they've put in during the week, individually, and as a team."
