Britain's elite archers are heading to Australia for their first training camp of 2008 ahead of the Beijing Olympics. They will spend 13 days practising, training and working with experts from the English Institute of Sport. Team GB performance director Barry Eley said: "We had a very successful 2007, and the Olympic countdown is underway. "This camp in Canberra is a great chance for the archers to put in some hard work, and reap the benefit from the expertise on hand to assist them." Eley added: "It's a multi-country training camp, so in the last three days we could be taking part in an international competition - India, China and the Koreans have also been invited. The nine British archers attending are: Alison Williamson, Charlotte Burgess, Naomi Folkard, Emma Downie, Larry Godfrey, Simon Terry, Alan Wills, Michael Peart and Tom Barber.
