Gillings finished 10th in the opening round in Argentina |
Manx snowboarder Zoe Gillings said she is looking forward to racing again in the second round of the FIS World Cup in Telluride, USA. The British number one finished 10th in the opening round in Argentina, after being impeded in a crash with world number one Lindsey Jacobellis. "I've been training really hard for the last five weeks and I can't wait to race," she told BBC Isle of Man. Gillings will compete in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver in February. Canada's Maelle Ricker won the opening round, ahead of Bulgaria's Alexandra Jekova with Dominique Maltais, also of Canada, in third place. Qualification for the Colorado event starts on Friday, 18 December.
