Daley claimed bronze in a personal best in the first leg of the World Series |
Tom Daley says he is delighted to have improved his personal best after scoring 540.70 to claim a bronze at the Fina World Diving Series in Changzhou. The 14-year-old from Plymouth was less than two points behind Chinese duo Qiu Bo and Luxin Zhou. And Daley said the new personal best was something he had been working on. "This year I've been steadily improving my PB by quite considerable margins really so I'm happy with the 540 points and a bronze medal," he told BBC Devon. "I was really excited to go into that competition. It was the second major competition since the Olympics so it was good to get back out there and compete," he added.
