Ryan McCluskey played for Dungannon Swifts on Saturday |
Attempts are being made to convince Fermanagh corner-back Ryan McCluskey to return to the county's football panel. McCluskey quit the Fermanagh squad last weekend after not togging in the Allianz NFL game against Cork.
McCluskey had lined out 24 hours earlier for Dungannon in the Irish Cup semi-final win over Cliftonville.
The player is unlikely to be involved for the relegated Ernemen in Sunday's NFL game against Donegal but there are hopes that the issue can be resolved.
Fermanagh are already certain to drop to Division 3 ahead of Sunday's final Division 1A game against Donegal at Ballybofey (1530 BST).
The Enniskillen Gaels club-man has been part of the Fermanagh squad since 2000 and has also played for Ulster in the Interprovincials.
Fermanagh take on Tyrone in the Bank of Ireland Ulster Championship on 20 May.
