Three players were sent-off as Kerry eased to an Allianz NFL Division 1A victory at Breffni Park. Mike Frank Russell's goal after five minute set Kerry on their way but they went down to 14 men when Kieran Donaghy was dismissed for an off-the-ball kick.
Kerry led 1-7 to 0-2 at the break and they remained on top to the end.
Kerry's Ronan O Flatharta was sent-off in the second half for two yellow cards before Erne keeper Chris Breen was red carded after a clash with Russell.
The reigning league and All-Ireland champions had 1-3 on the board before Fermanagh registered their first point.
The Ernemen's chances were rare but Diarmuid Murphy had to make a superb save to keep out Eamon Maguire's first-half shot.
O Flatharta was dismissed by referee Michael Hughes after 59 minutes with Breen following him down the tunnel three minutes later.
The result leaves the Ulstermen bottom of the division and without a point from three games.
