Lisburn Distillery 0-1 Crusaders
Lisburn Distillery hopes of finishing in the top half of the Irish League Premier Division received a setback when they lost at home to Crusaders.
On-loan striker Gerard Rowe got the goal for the Crues who have enjoyed a revival lately after being bottom of the league earlier in the season.
Crusaders were hammered 5-0 by Linfield last weekend but this victory at New Grosvenor was their fifth from their last eight championship fixtures.
Rowe and strike partner Alan Murphy were signed on loan from Shelbourne after the Eircom League finished in January.
They have proved excellent signings for Crusaders manager Alan Dornan.
The game's only goal came on 12 minutes when Rowe finished well after a pass from Murphy.
Distillery had their chances with John Martin, Jim McCloskey and Brian Strain all going close.
But they could not find a way through and the defeat - their second in four days - sees the Whites slip out of the top half of the table.
