Limavady Utd 0-3 Glenavon Alfie Wylie's managerial reign at Glenavon got off to the perfect start when his charges claimed a comfortable 3-0 Irish Cup success at Limavady. Glenn Fitzpatrick, a Dubliner signed by previous boss Colin Malone, was Glenavon's hero with two goals. Fitzpatrick, making his debut for Glenavon, scored the opening goal on 12 minutes. Limavady had a great chance to equalise but Ryan McIlmoyle fired wide. Right on half-time, Fitzpatrick made it 2-0 by heading home Marc McCann's cross. Glenavon's George O'Boyle had a goal ruled out shortly after the restart. Kevin Henry scored Glenavon's third a minute from time. |
