Kuwabara back for Belfast
Belfast Giants coach Dave Whistle
Dave Whistle's side are eight points behind Sheffield
Ryan Kuwabara is set to return to the Belfast Giants team for this weekend's two Superleague games.

Kuwabara has been out of action since early November because of a hand injury but he returned to training in midweek.

The Giants take on Bracknell Bees at the Odyssey on Saturday evening (1900 GMT) and Nottingham Panthers at the Belfast venue on Sunday (1900 GMT).

Paxton Schulte could also make his return to the Giants line-up in the weekend games.

Sheffield's 3-3 draw against Nottingham on Thursday boosted Belfast's chances of holding onto their league title.

The Steelers now lead Belfast by eight points having played three games more.
