Swindon Speedway slumped to their third defeat in a row after losing 51-39 at Belle Vue. Simon Stead top-scored for the Robins with paid 12 while skipper Leigh Adams (9) also played his part. Thomas H. Jonasson, returning from a month-long ban, managed a 10-point haul but Mads Korneliussen (4) and Morten Risager (1) struggled again. Swindon team manager Ronnie Russell said: "The result again highlights our vulnerabilities." The two sides meet again on Thursday at the Abbey Stadium.
