Adams is widely considered the best rider never to win the world title |
Swindon captain Leigh Adams says this years British Grand Prix at the Millennium Stadium could be his last, but he has not yet made a decision. The 38-year-old is in his 13th season in the World Championship, having ridden in a total of 105 events. He told BBC Wiltshire the Cardiff GP may be his last: "It could be, but I haven't made any decisions yet. "I don't want to drop it at the end of this year because of sour grapes and think that I haven't got the results." He added: "I've got a game plan with the family which way we want to go and we'll see what happens but at the moment it's year by year." Adams has never won the world title, his highest finish was second in 2007. He is currently 9th in the standings after the opening four races.
