Adams is set to return for a 13th season in the GP series (Les Aubrey) |
Swindon captain Leigh Adams says it is likely he will extend his Grand Prix career for one more season. The Australian is currently sixth in the standings with two races to go, despite victories in Sweden and Poland. Adams told BBC Radio Swindon the prospect of drawing his Grand Prix career to a close in his homeland at the end of next year was enticing. "I'm 95% sure," said Adams. "With the Australian Grand Prix, it would be nice to bow out there." He added: "I haven't made definite plans yet so we'll just see what happens." Adams is widely regarded as the best rider never to have won the world title and is likely to finish in the top eight of the standings for the 10th consecutive year.
