Adams is now 31 points behind Nicki Pedersen in the standings after Cardiff (Les Aubrey) |
Swindon manager Alun Rossiter has branded the exclusion of Leigh Adams from his final race at the British Speedway Grand Prix as 'scandalous'. The Robins captain was set to qualify for the semi-finals when Nicki Pedersen crashed into him from behind. Adams was removed from the re-run and Rossiter told BBC Radio Swindon referee Marek Wojaczek got it completely wrong. "That's got to be the most scandalous decision I've ever seen. The referee has to go, that's how serious it is." Adams' exclusion left him in ninth position in the Grand Prix, just a point away from qualifying for the semi-finals.
