Manager John Woolridge described the performance as "embarrassing" |
Stoke Potters fell to a dismal 69-21 defeat at the hands of King's Lynn in the Premier Trophy on Wednesday. Captain Lee Complin won the first race, but the home side went on to win the remaining 14 as Stoke were outclassed. "It was a disgraceful performance and very embarrassing," said the Potters' manager John Woolridge. "Only Lee and Jason Bunyan came out of tonight's meeting with any credit. The performance was awful and was nothing short of appalling." Stoke, who are fourth in their group, have two meetings remaining in the Premier Trophy, against Newport and Birmingham. The Potters begin their Premier League campaign with a home match against Workington on Saturday.
