New Belle Vue rider Krzysztof Kasprzak has thanked former favourite Jason Crump for sending him to the Aces. Kasprzak, 24, was the 2005 World Under-21 champion and takes over the number one jacket after Crump decided to cease racing in Britain in 2009. He told BBC Radio Manchester: "I am very happy to be at the Belle Vue Aces. "Jason told boss David (Gordon) I was a good rider and I am very happy with this - he gave me the chance to race for Belle Vue." The Polish-born rider added: "It is a very good club and many good riders race here. "I was watching Jason Crump all the time and watching his style. I asked him about the club and he told me how good it is."
