Belle Vue signing praises Crump

Speedway

New Belle Vue rider Krzysztof Kasprzak has thanked former favourite Jason Crump for sending him to the Aces.

Kasprzak, 24, was the 2005 World Under-21 champion and takes over the number one jacket after Crump decided to cease racing in Britain in 2009.

He told BBC Radio Manchester: "I am very happy to be at the Belle Vue Aces.

"Jason told boss David (Gordon) I was a good rider and I am very happy with this - he gave me the chance to race for Belle Vue."

The Polish-born rider added: "It is a very good club and many good riders race here.

"I was watching Jason Crump all the time and watching his style. I asked him about the club and he told me how good it is."
