Belle Vue Aces have signed up 19-year-old Croatian rider Jurica Pavlic for a summer showpiece event.

The 19-year-old 2006 European junior champion will ride at Kirkmanshulme Lane on 28 July.

Aces promoter David Gordon told the Manchester Evening News that Pavlic would star in the Peter Craven Memorial Trophy.

"It will give Jurica the chance to have a look at us and vice versa. It could lead to bigger things with us."
