An excellent performance from Wolves reserve Nicolai Klindt gave the Monmore Green club a hard-fought 47-43 win over local rivals Coventry. Klindt, who is in his first season of racing full-time in Britain, top-scored for his side with a 15-point haul. Wolves lost Jesper B Monberg after a crash in heat two but rallied to leave the Bees needing a maximum score in the final heat to deny them victory. But skipper Freddie Lindgren sealed his side's victory. It was only Wolves' second Elite League win in their last five meetings and they remain in danger of facing an end-of-season relegation play-off.
