Craddock out for three months

Craddock has become a key man in the Wolves defence

Wolves defender Jody Craddock could miss up to three months of action after breaking a metatarsal in Saturday's 4-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Craddock, 33, has had an operation to pin the bone and will then begin a course of rehabilitation.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy told the club website: "It's a huge blow to lose Jody because he's experienced and he's always done really well for me.

"He went to run forward and put his foot down and the metatarsal broke."

Although upset at losing Craddock, McCarthy was pleased with his side's performance against the Owls but knows things can improve.

"There were times when we were show-boating a little when we should be punishing them.

"I told them we should be grinding them into the ground when we have the advantage and not giving anything away at the back."
