Newcastle Diamonds suffered their fifth defeat in six meetings

Newcastle Diamonds continued their poor form as they slumped to a 62-31 defeat to Berwick Bandits in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Diamonds have now lost five of their last six meetings and lie twelfth in the table on twenty points.

Berwick's one, two and three went through the card unbeaten and as a team only relinquished three heat wins to Newcastle's Jason King.

King's tally included six-points for his race success in heat seven.
