Davidsson continued his strong form with four heat wins |
Lakeside Hammers got their Elite League campaign back on track with a 43-47 away win over Wolverhampton on Monday. Following two consecutive defeats the Essex side came out on top of a tight meeting which saw the teams level on points after eight heats. However, 5-1 victories for the Hammers in heats 10 and 12 allowed them to edge ahead of the home side. In-form Joonas Davidsson was the night's top scorer, riding to four wins from his five outings. The victory keeps the Hammers in second-place in the Elite League, one point behind leaders Poole Pirates.
