Belle Vue managing director David Gordon says he wants to see repeats of the 3,000 crowd that turned out to mark the Aces' 80th anniversary. The event was also staged in memory of club legend Peter Collins. Gordon told BBC Radio Manchester: "We just want everybody to keep coming down to Belle Vue. "We want to make this club what Belle Vue used to be and I just look forward to seeing more people coming down to support us." He added: "I was very pleased that all those fantastic fans were there to support a very special day on the life of the club. 80 years is a great milestone for the Aces."
