Barrie Evans has asked to take a break from Stoke Potters action in a bid to recover his form and enthusiasm.

"I just don`t feel at all good about my racing and it is all getting on top of me," said Evans.

"I have asked Dave Tattum [Promoter] if I can take a break to try and clear my head. My intention is to come back later and rediscover some form."

Meanwhile Lee Complin, who is recovering from a car crash, will watch the Potters take on Somerset on Sunday.
