Emil Kramer faces a week out of action (Mike Manning)

The Somerset Rebels have been rocked by the news that Emil Kramer will be missing for at least the next seven days because of a back injury.

Kramer sustained the injury after a fall at King's Lynn last week.

The 28-year-old Swede lined up in last Friday's Exmoor Chase but he had to withdraw after just one ride.

Promoter Mike Golding said: "It's a blow. I expect the team to be capable of covering for him in our home match with King's Lynn on Friday (25 July)."
