Rebels captain Simon Walker aims to be fit (Mike Manning)

Somerset Rebels are hoping captain Simon Walker will recover from a rib injury in time for Friday's top-of-the-table meeting with Workington.

The Bristolian missed last week's win over Sheffield after suffering the injury in a fall at Reading.

If Walker is unfit, Jordan Frampton, Stephan Katt and the two reserves, Matthias Kr�ger and Brent Werner, are eligible to take his rides.

The Rebels lead the Premier League table, while the Comets sit in third.
