Buster Chapman believes King's Lynn can earn a play-off place |
King's Lynn Stars will be visiting one of their least happy hunting grounds when they return to Premier League action at Newcastle on Sunday. After ten days without a competetive fixture a trip to the Diamonds will be a tough test according to Stars co-promoter Buster Chapman. "We've never had a good time there," said Chapman. "Newcastle has not been one of our best tracks for results. "But we have a team that's more than capable of winning there." The Stars have slipped to fifth in the Premier League standings, just outside the play-off standings. But Chapman thinks they are still well-placed to earn promotion to the Elite League. "We're sitting quite nicely now in the league positions," he said. "And I'm quite sure we can hold onto a play-off place, which is where we need to be at the end of the season. "The way we're going at the moment I'm quite sure we are capable of that."
