Redcar Bears will be aiming to get revenge over the Kings Lynn Stars when they visit Teesside on Thursday. Since the relaunch of speedway on Teesside in April 2006 the Bears have yet to record a victory against the Norfolk side in any competition. The Stars' main threat comes from Czech rider Tomas Toplinka as well as Aussies Kevin Doolan and Rusty Harrison. Bears promoter Glyn Taylor is still looking for a replacement for the departed Finnish rider Joni Keskinen. The in-form trio of captain Gary Havelock, James Grieves and Josh Auty are all available for Thursday's meeting. Meanwhile Redcar Cubs are at home in the Conference KO Cup on Saturday afternoon for the second leg of their tie with Boston Barracudas. The reserves lost the away leg 52-43 in Lincolnshire.
